I think this a good idea for a music video because it shows the lyrics infront of you.
A lot of controversy follws this video as this is the year Bob Dylan 'went electric'.
This video was the first 'modern' promotional film clips, which was later known as a music video. 'The Rolling Stone' magazine ranked it 7th in the list of 'Top 100 Music Videos'.
There are deliberate misspellings and puns throughout the clip for example when the lyrics say "eleven dollar bills" the card says "twenty dollar bills".
An iconic music video and one of my favourites for its iconic style and very much reflecting the fashionably cool style much admired in the middle 1960's.
ReplyDeleteTry to link your research closely with theory or more specifically the genre of your band;also try to identify and post onto your blog any music videos which hsve a similar visual style as your footage. The more research you do the stronger your edit and any extra footage you want to shoot.
Also try to think very carefully how yourmusic video will appeal to your targt audience.
Much more planning to go onto your blog Elodie, i.e. costume, locations, performers etc etc. You are a little behind with this.
